Since this is the fifth Missions video, then I'll have covered over one-third of the cast. That means that if I select randomly among characters in a team of three to use, I'll most likely get at least one character I have a passing familiarity with.

And yes, I know people advise against my using random characters, but I don't care about wins or losses, only if a match is interesting (which likely differs from what more experienced players consider an interesting match). I prefer an interesting loss over a dull win.

The other alternative would require a 17-sided die. I don't think one exists, and I collect unusual dice. (Yes, I really do collect unusual dice. Ever seen a Zocchihedron before?)

Jen Walters is a lawyer who was seriously injured one day. She was given a blood transfusion from her cousin, who happened to be nearby. This cousin happens to be Bruce Banner, the Incredible Hulk. The gamma radiation in Bruce got into Jen, and she turned green and super-strong as well. Unlike the original Hulk, Walters can retain her consciousness and intelligence as She-Hulk, and she can shift between her normal form and her green form at will. For a reason I don't entirely understand, Marvel frequently uses She-Hulk to poke fun at superhero comics in general with a broken 4th wall much like the way they do with Deadpool.

Despite her being a fellow Hulk, She-Hulk's moves are entirely different from Bruce Banner's. She-Hulk is more playful in her approach. Mission 3 gave me trouble as I am not yet accustomed to the quarter-circle-back, eighth-circle-forward motion (which I hear is called the Dragon Punch motion). And they use it a lot here. I could not do Mission 7. I always miss after Taking Out the Trash. How do you have her reach far enough?

Viewtiful Joe was once an average Joe who went to go see a movie with his girlfriend Sylvia. Joe was then personally informed by Captain Blue, a superhero Joe was a long-time fan of, to take up his mantle, and Joe enthusiastically entered the realm of movies to fight evil in them. The games hae an unusual cel-shaded art style, and each set of stages in the games is themed on a movie genre, such as war films and westerns. Viewtiful Joe has the ability to bend time: He can slow things down around him or speed himself up.

Viewtiful Joe needs ridiculously quick inputs to combo, it seems, but I guess it comes with his small size meaning he has to scamper about. For Mission 3, I was trying to figure out how to get Air Desperado to not fly right over Captain America--turns out I was just too slow. Or too fast as I wound up doing Air Joe (the sparkly thing where he falls slower). I know I can do Mission 6...I just ran out of patience for it. I edited out a lot of footage, but I was at that for 40 minutes. Every time I tried Viewtiful God Hand, Hulk hadn't fallen close enough to the ground.

Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider. You all know the story. He gained spider-based powers and became Spider-Man, then went to go fight a whole bunch of animal-themed villains (and Mysterio). While far from Stan Lee's first major contribution to Marvel, Spider-Man cemented Lee's mainstream presence by Spider-Man's sheer popularity: Unprecedented was the idea of a young superhero still learning to use his powers, both in how to apply them properly and how to be responsible using them.

It looks like I had to position Spidey for Misson 2. In Mission 5, I was doing Web Ball instead of Spider Sting. Turns out I'm supposed to put the control stick back to neutral and start the input for Spider Sting instead of pushing it from down (for crouching H) to forward (to begin the input for Spdier Sting). Mission 6 was a stopping point for me. I can do it up to Web Ball L, but I could almost never get to Standing L. When I press the light attack button, Spider-Man doesn't do anything, not even when the animation finishes.

Tron Bonne is a 14-year old prodigy on robotics and (of course) a member of the Bonne Family from Mega Man Legends. The family are pirates by trade, traveling around in a large cargo airship and robbing anyone they feel like. Tron's trademark is the Servbot, a little Lego-headed guy who, as the name suggests, does everything Tron asks him to do. She has 41 of these guys, which seem to be enough for her purposes. As she's not physically trained to fight directly, Tron has taken to this game's battlegrounds in the Gustaff, a small mech designed for hand-to-hand combat.

Tron was the only character that day whose Mission 7 I could finish. For Mission 2, the reason why that next-to-last one didn't count was because I did Bonne Strike M by mistake. What's going on in Mission 6 is that the Servbot Surprise needs time move over and grow, which can easily cause the combo to end.
