Doing this requires that you pick up a red orb -- having more than 180 health by the time you start the slide should be sufficient. Doing an ultra slide jump allows you to reach the now-bedraggled Statue of Liberty without taking damage from the sand. Entering a dash storage slide state before shooting the sandcastle makes you immune to the sandcastle's explosion thanks to the I-frames, but you still can take damage from the sand (hence why you need so much health). Remain in a dash storage state until the red tint on the side of the Statue of Liberty disappears -- the hurtbox (or hurt area?) of the explosion remains until the red light fades.

You might be able to slide up the statue of liberty to avoid the sand damage (or, you know, just do the moon easter egg.) But this video took too many tries to make so here it is
