Awkward Unboxing of the cheap Acer Aspire E14 ES1-411-C507 Signature Edition Laptop. Purchased at Microsoft Online Store in Canada for $249 (which is $195 US). I don't know if this is the standard price point, as it has been this price for quite some time here in Canada, but its amazing what you can get for $249 these days. ;-p

This is a N2840 Dual Core processor (the same as in the Acer Aspire E15 I reviewed and tested earlier - and also in the HP Stream 11 and 13) It has 2Gb RAM and a 500Gb hard drive.

A nice addition to this device is a removable (read: replaceable!) battery. I wasn't expecting this as the cheap laptops based on these Bay Trail CPUs have had non-replaceable batteries. I was surprised to see one here.

Anyway... review and testing to follow. :)
