Unboxing NextEngine 3D Scanner HD in the Nerdgasm Man Cave - Refurbished by ShapeTools
380Today I received my NextEngine 3D Scanner HD that I purchased on eBay refurbished directly from NextEngine. The unit arrived in perfect condition and boxed like new, it would be hard to tell this is a refurbished unit. This video covers the unboxing and all of the components it comes with. A followup video will be produced tomorrow that will cover the functionality of the scanner as we attempt to scan in numerous objects around the Man Cave.
My ultimate goal is to scan things in like trim pieces from my car or parts from my computer case and modify them to support new purposes or just look cooler then print them out on my Ultimaker 3D printer that should be here in a few weeks from Denmark.
