How to get Start Menu back in Windows 8 with Stardock Start8 - Tutorial

I have been using Windows 8 on the beast man cave machine for about a week now and I'm starting to mold it in to the operating system I really want. Windows 7 is a fantastic operating system but I wanted to get on the cutting edge. One of the biggest complains is that the modern shell does not suite my purposes on three 46 inch screens and I wanted to get my start menu back.
There are a lot of start menu replacements out there but they all look and feel 3rd party and don't fit well with the operating system. I found that Stardock Start8 was a direct replacement for what was lost and looks, feels and even exceeds the functionality of the original start menu in Windows 7. It also allows you to do things like disable the catch spots in the corner of the screens and the charms bar and application task bar when you get the mouse too close to the edge. Now that I have used this program for a week I feel like I'm on Windows 7 and everything works butter smooth but quite a bit faster. Windows 8 boots faster, my apps load faster and I have had zero compatibility issues or crashes since I installed it so just getting around the annoyances with the user interface is all I was concerned with.
