0It is the hardest ending to obtain, and it fits the theme of letting the world finally rest/rescuing Humanity back to their roots. Most fitting, as to keep the world going in any way is unnatural and doesn't make logical sense in the storytelling of Dark Souls. It has always been about 'surviving'. Hence this ending is the most canonical. The second most canon ending is the ending where you give the Firekeeper the eyes and then link the fire, which would end the age of fire into an age of dark and death (at the end of the world). Which would also let the world rest, but the 'survival' theme is now gone. Both points should remain for the most canonical ending.
Yes I did SoC on my first attempt on this round. A fitting conclusion to this adventure empathizing myself toppling Dark Souls 3. BTW ya'll should have seen the other bosses I did on this NG+. I WRECKED SH**!
