Whether you're fighting a battle on the campaign map or marching into multiplayer for the first time, one of the most unpleasant feelings can be the knowledge that you have no idea what will happen once one type of unit meets another. This series will seek to gradually rectify that! I look at different units that are likely to meet one another at some point on the battlefield and how they interact with one another in a battlefield situation.

It has become apparent that there is a balance issue in the campaign regarding chariots and their ability to drive just about any other kind of unit off the field when massed up in ridiculous quantities. Imbalance on the campaign map is one thing, but what does this mean for custom battles and the implications that leaves for multiplayer? In this video, I try to find a way to stop the chariot spam in its tracks.
