Universal 1440 Entertainment’s “Curious George: A Halloween Boo-Fest” - 2013 DVD Review
This is a review of my 2013 DVD of Universal 1440 Entertainment’s “Curious George: A Halloween Boo-Fest.” This is the only video release of the television special that aired on PBS Kids during Halloween of either 2012 or 2013. The film follows George, as he celebrates his first Halloween in the countryside. His friend Bill tells him about “No Noggin,” a Scarecrow that kicks people’s hats. With the help of his friend, Allie, George realizes that it’s not No Noggin that kicks people’s hats, but rather it’s Jumpy Squirrel stealing people’s hats to store his nuts for the winter. He then explains to Allie that the tradition steered when his Grandfather lived by No Noggin, who had a pumpkin head but the head was eaten by a pesky deer. In all the fun and excitement, George dresses up as the Man with the Yellow Hat, and the Man with the Yellow Hat dresses up like a banana. I hope you enjoy the show and have fun with Curious George and friends as they find the truth about No Noggin. 👻🎃🐵🙉🐒🍌🐿️🎩
