Universal Pictures’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” - 2001 Collector’s Edition DVD Review
This is a review of my 2001 Collector’s Edition DVD of Universal Pictures’ 2000 Holiday Classic, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” This film was directed by Ron Howard, who produced “Curious George,” and produced by Brian Grazer, Howard’s longtime partner at Imagine Entertainment. The film stars Jim Carrey as the Grinch, who hates the whole Christmas Season and wants to steal Christmas from the Who’s. The film also stars Jeffrey Tambor, Christine Baranski and Molly Shannon. If you want to learn about the plot of this movie, please read the book, which I did a review on about a year ago. This is my favorite Ron Howard movie to date - that was directed by Ron Howard, but not produced like “Curious George” was (this film was a live action movie and not an animated movie like the latter). I hope you enjoy the show and enjoy watching Dr. Seuss’s classic story come to life. NOTE: Soundtrack on Interscope Records, a division of UMG Recordings, Inc. 🎄🌲🎅🤶🧑🎄💚🐕🐾
