its a crime this game isnt available to buy anywhere online at this current point in time (WTF Epic), my new case doesnt have an optical drive but i really wanted to add this game to my videos as it played such a big part in the LAN parties i frequented in the late 90s, so i ran my optical drive externally to be able to install my old copy of Unreal Tournament

its funny but after setting everything up I was planning on having a nice casual match against the AI, but jeez it turned into a fight for my life lol The AI seems to be far superior to Quake III & as you see will see in the video... i swear at once stage it felt like it was hiding from me :0

i played this ALOT over networks when it came out & would get into aurguements with my mates (who prefered Quake III), tbh id always half felt they were right as UT seemed to be slightly rushed out the door to beat Q3 but after looking back at both games more than 20 years later i think that UT holds up better in alot of respects, the weapons seem abit more unique & the maps seem significantly more creative plus as i just witnessed the AI definately seems more advanced, i enjoy the gunplay on both but possibly UT abit more, which is stange as i recall thinking the opposite back in the day

Ive been revisiting alot of old games this year but i have to say that i have perhaps enjoyed returning to this the most, its been almost 20 years since ive played it & i instantely knew every note to the intro music lol

UT still looks great considering its age & the gunplay felt instantly familar, i ended up playing all night & couldnt wipe the smile off my face, hopefully it isnt dead online but i will be giving it a try for sure
