So it turns out I did make it to Oculus Connect, in a VR, virtual desktop manner. And whilst being present at JCs keynote through my Rift DK2 and Virtual Desktop, I thought I might as well enlist his help in testing the DK2 and FOV2GO HMDs common foibles.. First I had to find a way of capturing the rotated stream from the DK2, this was done in this instance using Steam In Home Streaming, the rotated capture though loses definition. In use you can with Virtual Desktop surf or Twitch the web.. life, the universe and Palmers Metaverse using DK2 all the text is legible using DK2 and Virtual desktop. I watched the whole keynote this way, this is just an excerpt come to think of it .. I could have Twitched the DK2 Virtual Desktop Stream of the Oculus Connect Twitch stream.. but perhaps I will just stick to reading comics like JC for future DK2 testin? If you have a Rift, Virtual Desktop should be the first app you chase for it .. I'll be back with a better way to stream .. ideas .. so many ideas..

And as for the results watching this video through a Rift will confirm many of the things JC states in this keynote .. I love empirical testing ..
