Using Rock Granulators to Cool Your Base [Oxygen Not Included]
Still messing around with the idea, so no finalized build yet, but after testing how heat transfer works with storage bins, it seems very viable to create a simple rock granulator cooling system that doesn't involve conveyor rail. From my testing, I found that two storage bins holding sand that is 140 C lower in temperature than the diamond window tile underneath them creates enough heat flux to cool down a thermo regulator operating off of hydrogen-- in this video I prototype a build that conservatively uses four bins per regulator.
Obviously, if you have access to conveyor rail then it's merely a matter of creating a heat exchanger similar to the one I showcased in my ice maker build:

My guess though is that the real potential here isn't in a formalized thermo-regulator build, but instead using the rock granulator as a sort of cold multiplier in conjunction with either wheezeworts or a cold biome. It's a good addition to really early game cooling strategies, but requires a lot of progress down the research tree to be an effective independent source of cooling.
