Two Simple Space Tricks [Oxygen Not Included]
In today's video we show off two fun ideas you can use in your space program in ONI.
The first are solid fuel cargo shuttles. It's possible to launch rockets using ONLY solid fuel in ONI, and they are capable of bringing back cargo from up to 30,000 km away. Because solid fuel thrusters only require 400kg each of refined iron and oxylite as their fuel, a lot of players will find this to be a very favorable trade-off to get 1000kg of cargo back.
The second trick we show off is the pea pod silo. You can stack rockets right on top of one another in ONI. This one is maybe a little less useful than the cargo shuttle, since it's not usually until the very late game that your asteroid surface starts becoming cramped (and in many games never becomes cramped), but it's an interesting build/challenge, and for someone going really hard into Gassy Moos or solar power, could be a lifesaver.
