Using the Miyoo Mini Plus as a MP3 Player (Onion Os)
37This video will be about using the Gmu app for the Miyoo Mini and Miyoo Mini Plus.
You will need to install Onion OS if you haven't already. Thankfully this is very simple to do.
The easiest way is to use the Onion Desktop Tools created by schmurtzm, one of the main contributors to Onion OS.
If you are worried about security, run everything in a virtual machine.
To make the listening experience a tad more convenient, either increase or turn off the system sleep timer other wise the Miyoo Mini will go to sleep while you are listening to music.
Sleep Timer
==========
Settings - Sleep timer - off or 30 minutes
Edit the Gmu keybinds for prev/next track from L1/R1 to Menu+L1 and Menu+R1 since the trigger buttons are very easy to press.

(edit the follow commands)
PreviousTrack=Mod+L1
NextTrack=Mod+R1
You can change the preset playlist names or add more. When you edit the configuration file, make sure to match the .m3u playlist name in the same directory to the name you have in the configuration file.

A = Play song
X = Add Dir to current playlist
Y = Add Dir to new playlist
Menu (hold) = new controls
Playlist Window

A = Play song
B = Remove song from playlist
Menu+B = Clear playlist
Menu+A = Playlist manager
Menu+Right = Queue selected song to play next
Menu+L2 = Gmu Info Screen (A to exit)
Menu+Down = Cycle through auto shutoff options (seems bugged at the moment)
Track Window

A = Toggle Display
B = Toggle Text
One complaint, there is a blip sound after each track ends. It's noticeable enough.
