As I said in title this trick will get you shiny Mewtwo 100%, but don't think it's easy because of it, it can be harder than to catch shiny pokemon in Pokemon Crystal / Gold / Silver. The thing is that shiny pokemon in gen 1 are locked to certain dv, that means that in certain lv they should have certain status, for example your freshly caught Mewtwo lv 70 in gen 1 should have these values:
Hp: 228 or 239
Attack: 161, 163, 167, 168, 173, 174, 178 or 180
Defense: 145
Speed: 201
Special: 234
So if you catch Mewtwo with this exact numbers you will get 100% shiny when you trade him with time capsule. You can catch Mewtwo in Cerulean Cave in Pokemon Red / Blue / Yellow, then just trade him to 2nd generation (Crystal, Gold, Silver) by time capsule (like I did in this video). The best way to catch this Mewtwo is to save before you fight him, you should have one empty space in your party then use master ball, if Mewtwo has this status then just transfer him and he will be shiny, if not load the game and fight him again until you find right one. Warning: as I said this isn't easy to thing to do, you may end up doing more than 10 000 sr (soft resets) and still don't get this type of Mewtwo. If you have any questions post them in the comments and I will try to answer all of them.
