How to get Mew in Pokemon Red / Blue / Yellow?
25In this video you can see the only way to get legal (means without cheats) Mew in Pokemon Red / Blue / Yellow / Green (Japanese version). To get Mew you must use glitch that activates when a pokemon trainer sees you as you move from north to south. The reason you can do this is that all trainers in first gen of pokemon games are turned south for a part of second, when you find some trainer that you can approach from north you save the game, when you get in his sight you have to press start before the battle begins, you will be able to access start menu and use fly or teleport to escape from battle. The game will think that you are still in battle and after that your next fight will be with the exactly the same person I fight in video, the reason for that is that his Slowpoke has right status for you to get Mew, he will have to walk to you, if not the game will freeze so make that 1 step space between you and him. After you beat him activate teleport again, you will go back to Cerulean, and when you approach Nugget bridge the game will press start at some point of the bridge, when you cancel start you will find wild Mew, then all you need is to catch him. The game will run absolutely normal from there on.
