Oh boy, crappy map incoming. This is how E3 starts? We're in for a rough ride! Seriously though, getting a good time here is 100% down to how lucky you get with in-fighting. It's one of those runs that you need to retry 1000 times until you get an unbelievably lucky time. I'm not up for that folks, sorry! There's more important maps to run.

Anyway, this time is pretty mediocre. I had the personal objective os getting below 1m10, but I gave up on that. This run gets really tiring really fast. I wanted to get back to the door of the 2nd cacodemon room before it closed, and failed because I thought I didn't hit the cacodemon on the first try, but I actually did; so there's some time lost there. Then I got blocked by the 2 cacodemons while going for the shotgun; even more time lost due to unlucky monster movement. Thankfully when I got back to the 2nd room almost everything was dead already. That was my moment of luck that allowed me to get a time of 1m10. The rest of the run went pretty well.

Sooo many things can go wrong in this run. You can get high-damage rolls from cacodemons and die. You can get blocked by bad monster movement (like I did). You can get bitten by pinkies at the long corridor if you're not careful. And the most common of all: running out of shells because the monsters did not in-fight enough... SO MANY TIMES! Anyway this is over; E3M2 is next.
