I take a look at the early access Valheim game on steam. With over 5 million copies sold, we will see what all the fuss is about.
Valheim is based on the old viking lore. You begin the game on the 10th world, where you have to prove yourself to odin by defeating ever increasingly harder boses. You start with nothing and have to crafting your way through the game. Valheim is in early access on steam and can be purchased for around £15.
NOTE: I do not recommend purchasing (or pre ordering) unfinished games of any kind. There is no way of knowing how the games will turn out or even if they'll finish it. Valheim seems to have a solid modding community behind it even at this early stage, which will likely pick up any slack the devs neglect to address.
