The continuing adventures in the Valheim world we've have been running since Hearth and Home was released. All vanilla, no mods, survivor mode.

This is a bit of an extended combat video with some magic, melee, and running around vines. Recording was made during patch 0.218.21.

I've finally found the second mysterious location! Turns out there aren't sub-bosses at each of them, but there was an elite Monument of Torment that was only spitting out 2-star charred baddies.

I kept my distance and bombed it with the Staff of Embers, but before I was able to break it down the mobs arrived.

Using the terrane to get a bit of cover, I was able to use the Staff of the Wild to deploy a few vines and start knocking down the numbers. It took a while as the baddies kept coming from another nearby monument and a volture nest.

Thankfully, I was able to keep the baddies at bay and took out the normal monument first.

After that, it was just a few more shots to take down the elite spawn point. There were a couple of stragglers, but after the charred were dealt with I was able to move in and take a look at the spot.

As with Lord Reto, there was a small tower blocked off on all sides, but no cave in the back here. Just four molten cores and the next piece of Dyrnwyn.

I also found the vegvisir marker for the final mysterious location, it is back on the central Ashlands island we first landed on.

I'll have to go there next and keep exploring south...
