The continuing adventures in the Valheim world we've have been running since Hearth and Home was released. All vanilla, no mods, survivor mode.

This is a building and futzing around video where I learn how much shield generators can overlap. Recording was made during patch 0.218.21.

Now that I have a few black cores, I've been making shield cores for the Village. Right now, I'm focusing on the dock.

I've placed a few along the northwestern wall, which protects the wood structure for the roof and a bit out front.

I needed a couple to flank the window... I just think it would look good, but it turns out that you cannot place the generators closer than 1 radius together. The generators protect 30m, so they cannot be closer than 15m.

Once I found this out, I had to modify my platforms the generators were standing on and push they away from each other a bit.

It took a few tries, but once I got the generators placed, it was fun to see how much of the dock has been covered and how much I still have to go.

I'll need to keep diving through infested mines...
