The continuing adventures in the Valheim world we've have been running since Hearth and Home was released. All vanilla, no mods, survivor mode.

This is an extended exploration video with a bit of combat & searching through the Howling Caverns from Hildir's questline. Recording was made during patch 0.218.20.

So, way back on day 1650 (last year in early September 2023), I was doing the Hildir quests and exploring the Howling Cavern. I found Geirrhafa in the front central room that time and hardly explored the cavern at all.

Only when editing the video did I notice that there was an entire wing I didn't go down, and there were stairs for sure that I missed.

Anyway, with my portal repaired and connection reestablished, I had to see what I missed last year.

Mostly, a lot of crystal, which I always need.

The new gear, staff of the wild and berserkir axes made quick work of the ulv. Mistwalker also cut through them very easily. It is nice to be over leveled for a change...

But I was able to explore the remainder of the cavern, and of course had to deal with a drake as I left.

Thankfully, I don't think the portal will break anytime soon.

I'll gather a few more things, taken them back to base, and then it'll be time to sail for the other mysterious locations in the Ashlands...
