The continuing adventures in the Valheim world we've have been running since Hearth and Home was released. All vanilla, no mods, survivor mode.

This is a bit of a magical combat and building video with a bit of fortress conquering. Recording was made during patch 0.218.21.

Taking forts is back on the menu as I keep looking for more upgrade materials and a lucky flametal stash in a chest.

This time, my previous day I spend with a massive fight, taking out the warlocks of this fort and nearly making it over the walls. But I got pushed back and was forced to make a portal on a nearby rooftop. I was lucky no stray fire took it out overnight.

Once I arrived, I made a tall ladder so I could see up and into the fortress. I could see one effigy of malice very clearly, but the other was a bit obscured.

Thankfully, I was able to take out the effigies without too much trouble, as my distance kept out of the reach of most of the marksmen's arrows. A few struck my ladder which needed only minor repairs.

After more of the charred were dealt with, I jumped into the fort and cleared the remained with vines.

There was a decent haul of good materials, including some iolite. I'm always needing more and more gems.

Once I cleared the fort, I went back to base to clear my inventory and set up the Fort Seven port by naming one back at base.

I came back through, demolished the portal and the workbench and then head into the fortress to remake them under an archway. That should protect them from most fire balls... I'll have to actually start repairing these forts...

Once back at base, I had a long look at the map as I decided what the best course of action was... I'll have to keep exploring the Ashlands and Mistlands to get what I need...
