Valve Source Code 2013 Tutorial (Episode 9): Mathematical Function Visualizer Idea
Hello everyone and welcome to a new (probably short) series of videos I do involving the source code from Valve for Half-Life 2, and some guides on how to do stuff with this code. In this episode, I go over how to implement a mathematical function visualizer (which is what you can do more easily in any other programming language!) which you can use to see how certain functions evolve with time within a Source mod. This is the first tutorial with live commentary, as I felt this was too much of a redundant, pointless and crazy idea! Please let me know what you think and see you for whatever I decide to do next, thanks for watching!
Also, at around 34:58, I should have mentioned that you needed to add PrecacheMaterial("sprites/blueflare1.vmt"); in the Precache method! I say incorrect things throughout the tutorial as well which I tried to correct with onscreen text, hopefully you can follow along!
