Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 sounded like a good idea but it's looking like a poorly planned effort now that the game appears to be in trouble. The Developer, Hardsuit Labs have never made an RPG before, one of the lead writers has never been lead writer for any RPG and they appear to be trying too much given the scope of their experience.

Letting Chris Avellone go raises even more question marks from a development standpoint and I struggle to see this releasing as much more than an attempt to cash on the popularity of the first game + the setting and table top game.
