Firstly, I feel very sorry for both Brian and Ka'ai right now. They've poured years of their life into this game and it really feels like they've been let down by greed, incompetence and meddling from both Hardsuit Labs and Paradox. I'm sure they have their flaws but it should never have come to this.

Now we have Mr. Assassin's Creed at the helm and it's quite clear Paradox know this is a dumpster fire and are just trying to release it in any way, shape or form they can while at least being able to make future World of Darkness games with at least a tiny bit of credibility.

I expect them to release something extremely half baked, maybe a hidden gem or two, courtesy of Brian's work perhaps with the game play being generic, collectables around the map, watered down RPG elements and likely not a good game at all, let alone a true sequel to Bloodlines 1.

I think we're in Anthem/Andromeda territory now folks. Let's at least get some entertainment out of this by laughing at it, wishing Brian the best (hoping he moves onto greener pastures) and I'm guessing this messy development will provide a few more laughs yet.
