CORRECTION: With the exceptions of thunderstorms, you don’t really have to worry much about ELECTRIC damage early on, and you shouldn’t have to worry about COSMIC at all until you get to really high-tier Aether-type planets or ones with cosmic storms. (My coffee hadn’t kicked in yet so my bad ^^; )


Anyway, these space kitties -- also know as the Vel’uuish, are bascially the Tom to the Kirhos’ Jerry (they even have similar ships!). They have surprisingly high buffs for the earlier biomes you’ll encounter, and a decent racial tech that can do plenty of close combat damage without your actually needing to fork over the resources for a weapon. I find the claws to be more powerful that the broken sword, so you’re better off saving resources up for the Floran dungeon.
