Verge of War: Space Pirates built and ready to play!
83After cataloging and sorting through all the parts, I managed to get just about everything built from the set (I didn't do the free pose model yet, mostly due to I'm not sure how I want it posed).
Overall I'm quite happy with what I've got here. The pirates themselves have a lot going for them, and the fact that they're all helmeted and a variety of sizes and shapes lends them the chance to be used in a lot of different games. Immediately stuff like Core Space, Battle Stations, Rogue Stars, and Starfinder pop into mind- or just use them in Verge of War's game as well!
Only real challenge I ran into was putting the transport together, and that's a pretty typical issue with vehicles having warped or bent edges. It'll need some filling but for the most part it went together with no hassles.
I liked these models enough that now I went and started hunting down even more from Verge of War, so mission accomplished! I look forward to seeing what else you have in store!
