Vesper’s Host Solo Loadout Practice Runs – Destiny 2 Dungeon Tips
3In this video, I'm working on my solo runs for the first encounter of the Vesper's Host dungeon in Destiny 2! Although the main goal was to fine-tune my loadout for the second encounter ("Infiltration"), I couldn't get the checkpoint there, so I'm putting in the work at the start of the dungeon.
What's in this run?
Experimenting with the Wardcliff Coil and Icarus Dash combo to see if it holds up for later stages.
A game-changing discovery: you don’t have to grab the Scanner Buff right away! Instead, clear the room first, then go back for the buff—it makes the whole process way less stressful.
My loadout for these attempts includes Midnight Coup, a trusty energy weapon with Incandescent, and Scintillation (Adept) for reliable damage.
Armor and subclass setup: Heart of Inmost Light and Star-Eater Scales paired with Nova Bomb to deal with those pesky Brigs.
The challenge? Perfecting that bomb run back without messing up and ruining a flawless attempt.
What's next?
Planning to try out Wardcliff Coil with Well of Radiance for the second encounter while testing the synergy with Rain of Fire and Icarus Dash for faster reloads.
My plan for the final boss is to play it safe with Speaker's Sight and Well of Radiance, accepting a few extra damage phases to make sure I secure the win.
