Vexiona Raid Guide - Normal/Heroic Vexiona Ny'alotha Boss Guide
1,909Vexiona Normal and Vexiona Heroic guide! Vexiona is a raid boss in the Ny'alotha raid of BfA. This Vexiona boss guide will show you the Vexiona abilities that you'll see in the Normal, Heroic and LFR versions of the Vexiona fight. Mythic Vexiona has additional mechanics not shown in this Normal and Heroic Vexiona guide. Footage of Vexiona for this boss guide is from PTR raid testing and some mechanics may look different or change when the Ny'alotha raid releases on live servers starting January 21st.
The key to Vexiona in Phase One is dodging the Twilight Decimator flyover during the air phase and minimizing the Void Corruption stacks you take in Phase Three. The rest of the Vexiona raid boss in Ny'alotha is just executing simple mechanics correctly, most of which are for the healers and tanks.
The tank with Vexiona will be gaining Void Corruption stacks. The other tank tanks the Void Ascendant. Both Vexiona and the Void Ascendant must be faced away from the raid due to their frontal AOE attacks. When the Void Ascendant dies, the Void Corruption tank needs to pick up the Gift of the Void orb and use their Extra Action Button to spew an Annihilation and clear their Void Stacks. Point that Annihilation at Cultist adds if there are any up, otherwise just face away from the group.
On top of general raid damage, healers have two important jobs on the Vexiona fight. During Despair, they need to heal the Despair target as high as possible to reduce the raid damage explosion. When the Void Ascendant tank is taking Annihilation stacks, they should be dispelled once in the middle of the channel to reduce the ramping damage they take from Annihilation.
Aside from that, drop your Encroaching Shadows pools out of the way, stay on top of adds, stick to your buddy during Phase Three and watch for the Twilight Decimator during flight phases. Vexiona will be down in no time.
