The focus of this book is really interesting as the industrial design side of Arcade cabinets is a largely unexplored part of video game history. Raiford did a lot of research on this and it's a spectacular addition to the growing body of video game research. I'm not the intended audience for this one, but I can appreciate the amount of research put into the book and the subject is really interesting.
There are a lot of interviews with Atari''s industrial design team from the 70s and 80s. This is the part of the book which I think adds value and advances a largely untold part of arcade history.
