A combo video featuring Virtua Fighter 32X and Virtua Fighter 2 for the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive. Keep in mind that plenty of these combos are situational. Some can only happen on counter hit and for the case of VF on 32X, some are character specific due to weight differences.

Anyone who's seen my post prior to this knows that I originally planned to make a "56 Bit" combo video. The idea was to also include combos from Virtua Fighter Animation on Game Gear. After exploring the game for a bit, I came across two things that made me scrap the idea.

1. Combos feel like a theory in Virtua Fighter Animation. The game is very tame to the other two and there isn't a whole lot that makes the characters stand out combo wise. Heck, even Kage's Ten-Foot Toss makes the opponent invincible until they land (meaning you can't juggle them). Funny enough, it has the same oddity as Primal Rage on Game Gear where the air is lava and jumping can lead to you getting juggled across the screen. But unlike Primal Rage, that will never happen unless the opponent jumps.

That alone might have been enough, but the second reason definitely made me put this idea aside.

2. It's no secret that Jeffry is not in Virtua Fighter Animation for Game Gear / Master System. So you can imagine my surprise when starting a 2 player match makes the roster even smaller. Unlike the 1 player mode, you can't use Kage or Wolf. Therefore, it would have felt incomplete if I tried to add this game to the combo video due to the lack of the original 8 characters. I attempted to try combos against the CPU instead, but they refused to jump (which is Virtua Fighter Animation's bread and butter for combos).

In any case, thanks for watching. I'm almost done with the Virtua Fighter 32X guide and I do have to make some adjustments to the VF2 Sega Genesis guide (mainly the combo sections). I'll update this description when the 32x guide is done and the other is updated.
