Normally I don't find reinforcements fun to deal with, but this time it's different. There's a valkyrie spawning at the fortress near Horvath when your part approaches him, on almost every turn. With them wielding valuable staves, your thief can just earn some easy money by stealing and selling them off later on. If my memory serves well, physic should be the most expensive one (also the most useful too).
Once you got sick of stealing or if your inventory is full, finish off Horvath with the power of friendship. While Horvath is powerful, but he can't deal with your strongest unit with multiple aura stacking effects (like Cornhusker's Charm). I might be the only one who will use an armor unit to tank a 50+ Atk boss who use magic, but hey it's best girl Larisa, she can't possibly lose to a Nergal ripoff.
