Was it worth it? Yes. Thanks to RA, my knees are shot. I just got one replaced. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The first few days, getting in and out of bed is a struggle, but before you know it, you regain more and more mobility. And now, I'm better off than before the surgery. If you can't tell, shaving was low priority and I look a bit of a mess.

It must be said, but this is my own experience, and is certainly not advice. If you are in pain or having mobility problems, seeing a qualified physician is a good place to start.
