In order to unlock the Beacon Breaker achievement, you need to deplete the first health bar of a boss to make it corrupt (or berserk) while it is near a beacon. Using an easier difficulty to get this achievement may help, since you obviously will deal more damage.

Get the boss' first health bar very close to being depleted, and then lure it to attack you near the beacon. Weapons or abilities that push enemies can help keep it close to the beacon while you finish off the boss' health bar. Then just kill it while it is in close proximity. The boss will start to become corrupted, and if it is near enough to the beacon, it will be destroyed, earning you the achievement!
