This is my review and set up of the HO Scale (1:87th Scale) Vollmer Burger King Restaurant which also comes with a lighting kit which I would assume would make this model kit look nice at night. As you know, I am aiming to have real life buildings on my model railway especially when I build "Phase II" of my layout and I love Burger King! (You cannot beat a good old Chicken Royale if you ask me). So yes when I saw this kit on eBay going for a good price, I just had to have one on the layout as you see these places in most areas in real life right? So if you can get this model and if you are confident at building model kits then I would recommend one on your model railway. The Vollmer range is amazing for detail and most of the "modern" stuff will fit in reasonably well on a UK Model Railway. The kit contains 120 parts that are pre-painted so you only need to glue the parts together to make the building. The best bet is to take your time and do not rush with building this. It took me 2 days with assembling the parts on several segment and I then joined them all together the next day when the glue had completely set. I have not completely finished the kit as I plan to add Preiser figures inside the building with some seated people so that the model will look even more realistic when done. Although the model is in HO scale/gauge, it will fit in well on OO gauge layouts as well as the double decker bus that is shown in the video is in the 1:76th scale and the two Citroen model DS23 cars are in HO scale, so there is not really much difference and is not noticeable in terms of buildings as real life counterparts are all different in sizes anyway :).

Overall Rating: 10/10.
