This is a mini-review of the first of two Irish freight wagons that had joined my OO gauge model Irish railway fleet and I intend to get a few more over time as I would like a couple of freight trains. This is a coal wagon (7 plank open wagon I believe) in the CIE "Flying Snail" logo in the grey livery and this wagon is actually made in Wales rather than China which is where most of the Dapol models are made nowadays. The model may be a few years old or so due to this as they are only the basic tension lock automatic couplers that are non-NEM, although the model does have metal wheels which gives smoother running in a consist.
