VR SHARK ATTACK // New Raft VR mod could be the ultimate MULTIPLAYER VR SURVIVAL GAME!
282One of the most popular survival games around is now a contender for one of the most popular VR survival games, RAFT VR is finally here thanks to a brand new VR mod which adds full VR motion controls and actions which need to be physically carried out to achieve the same action in game (e.g. throwing the hook, stabbing with the spear, fishing etc...). This turns the relaxing seated experience of Raft into an extremely physical VR game, add that to the fact that things can go very wrong VERY fast in Raft and you have a recipe for a brilliant VR survival experience. I'm also glad to report that the multiplayer aspect of Raft is fully intact here in the Raft VR gameplay experience, you can load in with friends who are playing flatscreen or VR and embark on this journey together.
It's worth noting that Raft VR is still in early access and will no doubt be fine tuned until release (and likely afterwards), right now it's a brilliantly immersive way to play a fantastic VR survival game but there are some issues. Performance could be better (I noticed a little dragging and low frames at times but nothing too offensive) and the physical actions need a little work, when you're in desperate need of resources there's nothing worse than the hook flying off in the wrong direction as a precious crate floats away.
