Ever wanted to play old games in VR? Well good news, the Quest 2 is turning out to be a great little VR emulator, a few weeks back I tested some Gamecube games (which ran great natively inside the Quest 2) and now today I'm having a look at the new PPSSPP VR emulator and playing some upscaled PSP games in VR. Pushing these PSP games up to 6x their normal resolution makes them look fantastic inside the Quest 2 and with the choice to play them on a big virtual screen or immersed inside them with 6DOF it means these old games feel fresh once again and can be enjoyed in a brand new way. The PSP VR emulator is still a work in progress however and the fully immersive VR mode isn't perfect, artifacts and graphics loading in around you mean it's not a seamless experience but for a new VR emulator that's still being developed it's a brilliant first showing so far.
