Last time, we began with the party having awakened the following morning from the dramatic revelations of the previous night. As everyone gathers themselves to head towards the next Frost Barrier, Kayli also reaches out towards Griarioz, the large Lionel of the Shining Star Brigade, to explain that it would be in their best interest if Knives was left in the care of someone trustworthy as far away from Zidoria as possible. And it would be even more beneficial if the rest of the Brigade were to stay with her as well rather than going to Zidoria, or anywhere else for that matter.

Griarioz agreed, saying he'd talk to his team about it. However, the idea came with some conflict for Kayli's party as other ideas and suggestions began to be shared. In the end, it was decided to discuss it at a later time.

Meeting with Reginald, the party resupplied with the few funds they had left while also striking special deals with him as well. His assistant revealed that the party's influence and constant business with him has made Reginald start to be more picky about his business, actually ending a business relationship with Jaymas of all people.

Once everyone had obtained what they needed, Reginald was pulled aside quietly by Ryudo about something, keeping it a secret from even Anoran as the two left the room. Though Reginald seemed a little confused by his request, Ryudo himself seemed perfectly happy with the arrangement, keeping it secret from the rest of the party.

They all set off towards the next objective in the tall mountains, crossing old bridges and fighting off the Kenku guards that were intended to slow them down, though to no avail. As all the guards have been defeated, they manage to take a Short Rest to prepare for what was to come next. After all, across the next bridge appeared to be a much bigger area where a pillar of light appears to begin emanating from right before their eyes.

And so, we begin...
