Bonus Kun appears at mid-point in single-player mode and is a bonus challenger. He is available to be selected like a regular character, but only in a 2-player game. He is unavailable in single-player mode.

===== ABOUT BONUS KUN =====
The story for him is that he was a punching bag from the Punching Bag Planet that desired to be a fighter. He traveled through space to fulfill his dream. Along the way, he met Rouwe (who appears in Galaxy Fight), who agreed to teach him martial arts on the condition that he becomes his punching bag. He agreed, and after being taught martial arts by Rouwe, Bonus Kun travels through space and time to improve his skills.

Design-wise, Bonus Kun is a punching bag with a red headband. He is a parody of Ryu from Street Fighter, and even has his type of special moves. In Waku Waku 7, his BGM theme is composed to sound like Ryu's SF2 stage theme. Here are his moves...

===== ABOUT SATURN WAKU WAKU 7 =====
Due to the heavy 2D sprites and animation, the game requires the 1MB RAM cartridge to run... and it seems to have done it wonders, because aside from the loading times, it is very close to the Arcade original. This version of the game takes advantage of the Saturn hardware, offering the AST soundtrack.
