Karnov is the penultimate boss in the game. He is a regular playable character.

===== ABOUT KARNOV =====

Karnov is a character who originally appeared in his own game called Karnov. It is a platform game which was released in 1987 for the Arcade. He is also Data East's mascot, and is depicted as a muscular and fire-breathing character, a lot like a generic strong man from a circus.

In Fighter's History: MKI, which is based on Karnov's Revenge, he has an "overweight" appearance unlike in the prequel game, where he was more muscular and shorter in height.

Gameplay-wise, Karnov is a decent character to use. Regarding special moves, his Fire Breath comes out quite fast and can be used against opponents who are jumping in as well as being able to be combo'd into; his Super 100 Kick travels forwards fast and can be combo'd into; and his Aerial Cossack is a fairly good anti-air.
