Warframe Gameplay: 20 Minute Survival (Vauban Prime)
14Next up is pretty much the first trap style Frame and one of my favorites: Vauban Prime.
Vauban is pretty much like Protea except he uses exclusively all manner of traps from damage boosters and mini drones. He offers a sort of fire and forget style were he uses what he has and let the bad guys come to him where he has plenty of nasty surprises in store.
Passive:
He gets a 25% damage bonus to enemies that are incapacitated. In short any enemy suspended in the air by your abilities of another one will give that bonus. *All information can be found in the link provided below*
Abilities:
Tesla Nervos: His first ability. He can summon 1-4 mini drone that move around and shock any enemy in range. These guys can wander off and kill any enemy out of your range thinning the numbers making it easier.
Minelayer: His second ability. As he levels up, he will get access to additional mines. the mines are as follows:
Tether Coil: Immobilizes enemies in range
Flechette Orb: Send out a mini turret to deal damage
Vector Pad: Makes a dash plate that will boost you forward
Overdriver: Buffs you or an allies damage with weapons
Photon Strike: His third ability. He calls down a air strike that deals a ton of damage in an area. The great thing is when you use it in mid air, he does a spin flip and throws it out. Its pretty cool (lol), try it when you get the chance and let me know what you think.
Bastille: His ultimate ability. He sends out a net that will suspend and enemy who gets close in mid air. Holding it will collapse all of them into a vortex that traps all enemies inside and damage them.
Overall:
Most of his abilities can take advantage of his passive since he will deal maximum damage at all times. One thing you can do is send out turret mines (Flechette Orbs) in narrow areas to slow down or create a choke point in which they will major damage. Overdriver will work with any weapon, so use if often. Vector Pad is okay, but not really useful unless you have a teammate slower than you or you need an escape path. Tether Coil is great since it counts as incapacitated, combine with high damage weapons and you can easily hit damage in the tens or hundreds of thousands. Still, power is the way to go and duration for added value.🥃
