Today’s one minute game review is on WarioWare: Get It Together by Nintendo EPD and Intelligent Systems. I had never played a WarioWare game before, but when Get It Together was announced, the hype that surrounded the game was contagious. It looked unlike any game I had ever played before. And as it turns out, that was absolutely the case. Get It Together plays like a fever dream, but in the best of ways. At first, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, but by the end I DEFINITELY had no idea what I was doing. Just kidding, kind of… I did get used to the general format and objectives of the microgames, but because of the absolutely frantic presentation of the game, there were still plenty of times toward the end of the story mode when I would just end up flailing the joystick and hoping for the best, sometimes I was successful… other times, not so much. Overall, I gave WarioWare: Get It Together an 8 out of 10. While not exactly the deepest game I’ve ever played, it is a lot of fun and if you’re looking for a new party game, I don’t think you’d regret picking this one up.
