WarioWare: Smooth Moves - Episode 10: Two Controllers aren't Always Better Than One
In today's episode of the "Smooth Moves" playthrough, we complete Orbulon's stage, which consists of us winning a boxing match in order to send the Form Temple into orbit.
As much as I love this game, I can't help but feel that it did Orbulon dirty by giving him arguably the worst stage in the game. You see, the main gimmick of Orbulon's stage is that all of the minigames utilize the Diner style, which involves using both the Wii remote and nunchuck. However, unlike all of the other styles in the game, in which there's only one way that you have to hold the controller, the Diner has three, making it where it's much harder to figure out how exactly you need to move in order to successfully complete each microgame. And to make things worse, the nunchuck motion controls in this game aren't the most reliable, so you could be moving in the way that the game wants you to, such as with the tortoise and hare flag minigame, but because the game didn't register that movement, for one reason or another, you'll be penalized.
So with that in mind, I can see why the developers didn't make Orbulon's stage part of the main story and appreciate that the nunchuck minigames were included as a post-game bonus.
