Additionally, this logo combo is not to be confused with Seva's video that uses the _Kirby_ name, which is now part of his old Nintendo Films canon.
Instead of having 20th Century Fox release it (which was a change that Seva made, making it so that Nintendo wouldn’t have signed a first-look deal with the company), Warner Bros. Pictures would release it. And because Nintendo Animation didn’t exist, Warner Animation Group would oversee animation production as Nintendo Films would branch out to other animation studios. The animation would be produced at Mikros Image. Legendary Pictures is kept, with the film additionally produced by Bron Creative.

This is the first Nintendo film to use the 2019 Legendary Pictures logo. It is also the final film to use the 2013 Nintendo Films logo, before it and Nintendo Television folded into Nintendo Studios, the succeeding film, television and animation production division of Nintendo, controlled by Nintendo of America.
