WARNING: Cheap Android devices (tablets, smartphones) do not support the Google Play Android Market
This video reveals the downside to buying cheap no-name Android devices (usually tablets or smartphones, and usually made in China for the Chinese market): chances are if your Android device is not from a known name brand, then not only does it not have the Google Play Android Market on it, but there is no way of officially putting or installing the Google Play Android Market to your cheap no-name Android device. Missing Google Play Store app on your device
The Android operating system is open source, which means that any device manufacturer is free to use Android on its devices. However, the Google Play app is only made available to devices that pass Google's compatibility requirements. Manufacturers must obtain a license from Google in order to install the Google Play Store app on their devices.
If you don't have the Google Play Store app app, and your device is not listed on Google Play's supported device list, it's likely that your device is not supported for use with Google Play at this time.
If you need further information on whether your device is supported for use with Google Play, please contact your device manufacturer for further support.
