The crews of HMS St Albans and HMS Edinburgh have returned home to Portsmouth Naval Base and their loved ones. HMS St Albans, a Type-23 frigate, has returned from a six-month operational tour of the Middle East, policing busy shipping lanes and providing security for the region alongside other coalition forces. In contrast to the heat of the Gulf, Type-42 Destroyer HMS Edinburgh has returned from cooler climates following a six-month deployment to the South Atlantic.
