An investigation is underway after a Lynx Helicopter from 1 Regiment Army Air Corps had to make an emergency landing in Germany. Details of the incident, which happened at Halle near the unit's base at Gutersloh last Thursday, have only just emerged. It is understood the aircraft was not carrying weapons and none of the three people on board were seriously injured. Military flights from the base have not been affected.
