Following the Astroneer Research Update, patch 0.5.1 is a smaller update that extends the new research system. We take a look at the new multi-phase research rates, along with a new lighting system, in this let's play Astroneer patch 0.5.1 video.

As we check out the Astroneer patch 0.5.1, putting several researchables through their paces, we take time to extend the base, which means going down the mines where we strike it lucky! We find coal, dynamite, two rare thrusters and the famous zebra ball. Shame about the aluminium!
