I can’t believe we’ll be spending Christmas in four different houses this year. We’ve been moving so much lately that it’s hard to keep track of where we are sometimes!

The same movers who helped us get to Leamington, Ontario, came all the way from Ottawa to help us again. They drove through the night, moved us all day without sleeping, and then drove straight back—absolute legends.

Leaving this house was bittersweet. It’s where baby River was born, and moving away from a place filled with memories like that is never easy.

Goodbye, home. We rented a trailer just in case, and it turned out to be a good call because not everything fit in their truck.

On the way, we stopped for a quick bite to eat. River is happy anywhere as long as he's with us.

The kids are such great travelers—she just sits in the car, watches her iPad, and never complains.

We finally made it. It’s dark outside, the house is still a mess with boxes everywhere, but we’re home. Now it’s time to settle in and make it our own.
